acoustic architecture

Passive Radiators (shown in orange) help boost lower frequencies generated from the 4 main speakers - allowing for a smaller & sealed enclosure. This layout was identified early around ID's request for a compact, rectangular form-factor

initial concept exploration

With the form-factor established, ID exploration focused on interesting part breakup and materials that would accommodate acoustic and antenna requirements. We also identified an early opportunity to integrate a smart soft-cover that would lend a craft aspect to the design and automatically turn off the speaker when closed.
